Look Around

When I look back to my childhood
Nothing seems clear to me
And I’m still waiting for all the things they took from me
As I go down to the basement
They keep an eye on me
And even if I give it a try
There’s nothing, nothing to be done
Although I don’t know how to work it out
There’s something behind that door
And I look around, looking for something
Holy place where all is nothing
We can find a better way
And they’re looking good, pretty faces
Hiding behind sunglasses
We can find an other day
Whatever you say
I catch sight of it in the corner
As concealed as it can be
But the closer I get the more it disappears
And even if I give it a try
There’s nothing, nothing to be done
Although I don’t know how to sort it out
There’s something behind that door
And I look around, looking for something
Holy place where all is nothing
We can find a better way
And they’re looking good, pretty faces
Hiding behind sunglasses
We can find an other day
Whatever you say

Tiger Lily (Lala Song)

La Lalalalalala Lala
La Lalalalalala
I woke up to the sound of the rain
Fine drizzle on the skylight
But through the quivering pane
I heard her call my name
And there’s no doubt about it
Tiger Lily has come
Son hurlement résonne
It sounded like a
La Lalalalalala Lala
La Lalalalalala
Then we met on the top of a hill
And the rain was reflecting in her eyes
Couldn’t tell when she ran at me
Was she gonna kiss or kill me
Oh, no doubt about it
Tiger Lily has come
Son hurlement résonne
It sounded like a
La Lalalalalala Lala
La Lalalalalala

Can I bless you for the kind words that you’ve been yelling at me, yelling at me
I was this man, swimming in the sea, followed by a shark that try to bite me
So I let the water hold me down, to the floor, far from shore, it was so dark
I might be lost, not forgotten anymore
I might be wet still I knock at your door
Where have you been
I’m drowning down here, drowning down here
Can I get in your submarine
Do I need a ticket to sail, wherever you care to go
Where have you been
I’m drowning down here, surrounded by mirrors
Can I get in your submarine
Do I need a ticket to sail, wherever you care to go
I am breathing again for the first time this night
The water is me, the salt is your skin
I am this man, crawling in the dark
But you’re looking at me like I deserve to be
I’ve decided you’ll be my captain
Blue sky blue life blue ocean
So I’ll be damned if this ride is over
Before you give me, before you give me discloser
Where have you been
I’m drowning down here, drowning down here
Can I get in your submarine
Do I need a ticket to sail, wherever you care to go
Where have you been
I’m drowning down here, surrounded by mirrors
Can I get in your submarine
Do I need a ticket to sail, wherever you care to go
If you fail
Doesn’t matter if you fail, I’m floating face down in this brand new world
I’m so in love with you, so in love with you
I’m so in love with you, so in love
Where have you been
I’m drowning down here, drowning down here
Can I get in your submarine
Do I need a ticket to sail, wherever you care to go
Where have you been
I’m drowning down here, surrounded by mirrors
Can I get in your submarine, do I need a ticket to sail, wherever you care to go

High & Low

Desperate eagle in a blurry sky
I’m flying over the stormy weather
And I’ve barely landed on cloud nine
When the gravity once more knocked me over
Hear me shouting as I fall
Something’s running in my veins
A feeling I don’t even explain
Can someone help me understand
How to silence the voices in my head
High and low, oh oh oh
From top to bottom
This lift is out of control
And I know, sorry ‘bout it
It’s an endless swirling
Hell and eden, high and low
Barely back onto dry land
I hear the rising call again
But I can’t fly up I’ve lost all my feathers
Outer space to earthly dust
For an eternity I’ve been locked up
Between heaven and the bright blue sea
Can somebody get me outta here
High and low, oh oh oh
From top to bottom
This lift is out of control
And I know, sorry ‘bout it
It’s an endless swirling
Hell and eden, high and low
